Enrolment

The Centre has a Non-discriminatory Access Policy under which children of different religious, cultural, or ethnic backgrounds and children with additional needs including disabilities are treated with equality, respect and consideration.  While we make every effort to assist children with disabilities, each case is treated individually and some children may have to be referred to alternative specialised services appropriate to their needs.

However, under the Child Care Subsidy scheme, a Priority Access System does exist based on criteria set by the Family Assistance Office. Waiting lists are based on the priority of access and the date of enrolment.

Once you have decided to enrol your child at our centre, you must:

 a)    Ensure that you have read the PARENT HANDBOOK obtained from the Centre. You will then be required to complete and sign an enrolment form. Its important to to read the policies located at the Centre.

b)      You will also be required to pay an Erolment fee that will be refunded with your first account.

c)      Families can claim Child Care Subsidy online by signing into their Centrelink online account through  myGov and completing a Child Care Subsidy claim. If eligible, the Subsidy will be paid directly to the service on families’ behalf and will reduce the fees owed. This can only occur after our service enters families’ enrolment information online, and families confirm their enrolment information through their myGov account.

d)      Families will be invited to bring their child into the service at a time that suits them so the child and family can familiarise themselves with the environment prior to commencment.
